This support article provides instruction how reset the internet connection at your service location. The purpose of resetting the internet equipment is to resolve common issues that may arise during power outages, internet service provider (ISP) maintenance, and other scenarios.


Solution:


  1. Locate the network panel at your location
  2. On the network panel, locate the modem provided by your internet service provider (ISP), as well as the router (The network equipment is generally labeled to easily identify)
  3. Once these devices are located, disconnect the power cable from the router (The power connector has a locking mechanism. Be sure to unscrew it to disconnect)

  4. Then disconnect the power cable from the modem (The modem provided by your ISP varies. Contact Cybertronics for details regarding your location)
  5. Please wait for 10 seconds before proceeding with the instructions below
  6. Reconnect the power cable into the modem
  7. Please wait for the modem to reboot, and confirm the LED connection indicator(s) are illuminated
  8. Reconnect the power cable into the router



Once the router is powered on, it will initiate its boot sequence, and reconnect to the
internet, and restore the previous configuration
