This support article provides a reference of the message security permissions that can be set within Microsoft Outlook.



Permission Option
Description
Encrypt
Allows you to encrypt a message for transport to recipient(s).
Do not forward
Allows you to encrypt a message for transport to recipient(s), but also prevents recipient(s) to forward the message, print, or copy content.
Confidential\All Employees
Confidential message that requires protection, which allows all employees full permissions. Data owners can track and revoke content.
Highly Confidential\All Employees
Highly confidential message that requires protection, which allows all employees view, edit, and reply permissions to this content. Data owners can track and revoke content.
