This article provides instruction on how to transfer active calls on a Poly VVX phone
Solution
- During an active call on your phone, select one of the following
- Press 'Transfer' to use the default transfer type (Consultative).
- Press and hold 'Transfer' to use the non-default transfer type (Blind).
- Press 'Transfer > More', and select Blind or Consultative to specify the transfer type.
- Dial a number or choose a contact from the Recent Calls or a directory to transfer the call.
Note that the caller ID of the extension number is displayed on the receiving party's phone on consultative transfers. For blind transfers, the external or transferred line is displayed as the caller ID to the receiving party's phone.
