Depending on your company size, there may be multiple printers at your office location, and it may be difficult to identify which one to print to. In addition to this, Windows sets only one printer as default and you may need to print to a variety of printers, depending on the print medium or type.

Prior to sending the print job to a selected printer, the print dialog window provides a list of printers available to you. Depending on the app used, this dialog window provides the details of the printer, and its location, so you can select the correct one. For example:
